I remember the books saying that John wasn't the strongest or fastest Spartan, only that he had the most balls.

I normally read fantasy or western novels, but they had all 3 in a box set and they got good reviews from Amazon.com so I bought them and the first one was really good, it's was about the first spartans ever made.

 The second one was ok, it was based off of the first game and the 3rd was really good. I am now reading the forth which is good so far, the author Eric Nylund has talent with his writing and you may want to check out some other books he wrote if you don't care  to read about anything to do with Halo(although they are good books regardless if they are based off of the game). 

I also bought a book about werewolfs called "Moon Called" which I haven't read yet.

Well I didn't read the books, but my friend did and he told me everything about it. It's been a long time I've seen him since he's always on his book studies!!! Plus it's been 5 months since he told me everything about Halo and the background story of MC!!!

    That Spartan appears to be a match skill-wise with Linda Spartan-058, however, her appearance is more inline with Kelly Spartan-087.

    Either way, I want the remaining Spartans in Halo 3. Fighting along side friendly super-soldiers would be amazing.

There was also the SPartan-III series which is in the forth book"Ghots on Onyx". He wasn't the strongest but he was the most clever and luckiest of them all. I haven't finished the forth which takes place before Halo 3 and there are still SPartans alive, but maybe they die later. There are also those Spartan-IIIs I mentioned.

I do reccommend the books to anyone that enjoys reading even if you don't like Halo.

well...based on old Metroid games, Samus has a pretty serious verticle.  but I wouldn't think she'd be that agile either.  and she certainly doesn't fly.  all were for the movie to be more fun.

That was really good choreography, I didn't really like some of the stuff in there, but it is his representation, so whatever.

But man, people need to read the FAQ instead of asking the questions in here!!

P.S. Call me a fan boy, but I think the ending to the actual fight was terrible...

Take master chief, multiply his armour by several thousand years.  Take all his weapons and more, cram them all into one gun that's attached to his arm, then give him training by a race that learnt to leave the 3rd dimensional world.  Turn him into a chick and get rid of all the side-effects of his enhancements.  That's Samus.

    I was kinda hoping that people would realize that the person the games are based upon is still alive :roll: :D 

Awesome fight scene, very cool.

The ending was more than a little gay though (literally), and ruined it for me.

Superb movie. When the cool MC was fighting that is how I thought Halo should play. And Samus would easily have destroyed "him" after the ice beam and super missile... but all in all it was excellent to see how things would and should end up... :lol:

Samus pretty much did all of the fighting, hitting and killing. Even without her armor she can put MC in "his" place.foxhound_fox

It really wasn't MC just a female spartan. Like in DOA4.
